Kalvön is an old fishing harbour at Havstensund. It is a place for peace an quiet. No shops, no water or electricity in the harbour, and harbour charges is disposed in an envelope in a box in a small shed. No WC but a very nice outhouse. Clean, allways toilet paper, and even a full Klenex dispenser. Picture at the next page. Kalvøn is a place to calm down.

Here the harbour with the quay. The harbour is very shallow, some part away from the quay is even dry at low tide. So keep close to the quay. In the distance you see the rough sea area "Gula Humpen". Here we ar far out at the quay. Huge truck tires are used as fenders. This picture is shoot late august. At this time the local fishermen use part of the quay as storage for their fish traps. But at mid summer they keep away.
